Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Latin America Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Finance Manager to join our team in Nashville.
This role will be responsible for influencing and operationalizing the short to mid-term execution of functional strategy plans. The problems this role faces are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis, along with the ability to influence decisions across a matrixed organization. A successful candidate will require the ability to influence others, to accept practices and approaches, and the ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
*** This role is a HYBRID schedule in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ Bridgestone HQ in Nashville, TN. ***
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Executive Director, Latin America LSCM and the multiple countries finance and logistics teams.
Partner with Senior Management and LSCM department leaders (logistics, warehousing, headquarters) to establish financial targets consistent with the company's strategic plan prior to recurring budget cycle
Participate as a key member of the business unit leadership team and Finance function in the development of the strategic plans and ensure business plans are aligned with the overall Bridgestone America Tire Operations (BATO) Latin America goals. Specifically, ownership of short to mid-term (1-3+ years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department.
Leadership role during annual budget process and monthly forecast with a keen focus on highlighting risks and opportunities along with preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts
Responsible for overseeing month-end close and reporting requirements with a focus on timely, accurate, and insightful reporting.
Execute accurate financial reporting and lead internal controls, consistent with internal policies as well as regulatory and control requirements (IFRS).
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
5-7 years minimum managerial finance experience
Experience with logistics and supply chain management processes
Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese
